Mother's Day Gift Guide

Giving gifts can be challenging for new parents, especially during a pandemic when many work from home. As parents, you’re consumed by the daily grind. Whether it’s trying to find a routine with a new baby or trying to manage your time with remote learning, working remotely, and keeping up with the constant messes from everyone being home. It’s more complicated than it used to be to run errands with a little one in tow or amid store closures. If you’re like me, you’ve realized it’s someone’s birthday a little too late to order online, especially with delayed delivery schedules, and the task of running out seems too daunting. As a new mom, I haven’t had many opportunities to master the balancing at during a pandemic. More than ever, we have to be mindful of planning ahead to ensure we have gifts for our loved ones, especially our families’ matriarch.

Here’s your opportunity to find the perfect gift(s) in any category! Click on the under-lined descriptions or photos to easily purchase!

For the Vermont Made Art Lovers:

Syvandell Art from my friend Averill - If you love Vermont-inspired landscape drawings and Raku, Pit-fired ceramic designs using primitive abstract work, you have to check out Averill’s designs on instagram! These are truly one-of-a-kind pieces to inspire anyone! My absolute favorites are the ceramic vases that offer a great focal point for decor! Send Averill a private message to find out product availability.

For the New Mommas or Anyone:

De'Longhi Combo Espresso/Coffee Maker - Make espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, or a plain ol’ pot-o-joe! This coffee/espresso machine is perfect for bouncing back from sleepless nights! This appliance is an absolute must-have in my kitchen, especially when going to a coffee shop for a latte is too much of a hassle.

Nutri Bullet Blender Combo - Make smoothies, soups, baby food, you name it! This blender combo is a kitchen and mommy must-have! It comes with a serving pitcher and single-serve cups for all your blending and pureeing needs.

Sound Peats Earbuds - These wireless, rechargeable earbuds are inexpensive and perfect, not just for moms that have a baby trying to pull cords, but anyone! They’re great for bedtime meditations, gardening, cleaning, and the list goes on!

For the Yogis and Mind Conscious:

Jade Yoga Mat - This is by far my favorite yoga mat! It offers a no-slip-grip for all of your favorite yoga poses. There’s nothing more annoying than being in Down Dog and having your hands sliding out from under you. This yoga mat offers padding and support for the knees and is a must for those who enjoy hot yoga.

Pat Longo’s Guided Meditations - For those new to meditation or who want a little direction, Pat’s guided meditations are lovely and available in various lengths. I enjoy hour-long meditations led by my intuition once I’ve grounded myself. I turn to Pat’s meditations for the days I’m too tired and need some guidance, so I don’t have to think about it.

For the Self-Care Obsessed:

Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo - For the days you choose not to wash your hair because you don’t want to miss a single move your newborn makes, or you plain don’t feel like it! If you have the amount of hair I do, it takes scheduling it into your calendar to blow out your hair, so I prolong my “do” as long as possible. To put my own spin on a popular phrase... I woke up like this... a week ago!

Agellums Nerium Night Cream is like nothing on the market! This night cream targets and reduces wrinkles, fine lines, redness, sun spots, acne scarring, as well as brightening, toning, and lifting. I call this my facelift in a bottle! And you can’t beat the value, receiving two additional free products with every purchase!

Dr.Teal’s Epsom Salts - Epsom salts are great for tub soaking to relax and detox or soaking your feet to relieve tension from a long day. My favorite is lavender, but there are many different scents!

For the Adventure Seeker:

Osprey Child Carrier - This pack is excellent for any hike! It’s comfortable for you and your little one and has a compartment for snacks and supplies. Every part of it is adjustable, offering waist and chest support and a kick-stand for loading and unloading. It also provides a pop-up umbrella to protect from the rain and sun.

ISSYAUTO Stand Up Paddleboard - This is the perfect paddleboard for water lovers! I was hesitant about an inflatable paddleboard, but it holds air well, is extremely durable and a breeze to store away when not in use! It comes equipped with a backpack for easy storage and carrying, a handheld pump, and a paddle for all your paddling, fishing, and yoga needs!

Yeti Hopper - This cooler is perfect for beach days and picnics! It’s big enough for drinks and snacks and offers an over-the-shoulder strap for when your hands are full. It also comes in a multitude of fun colors!

For the Tech Junky:

DJI Osmo Pocket - This handheld video recorder is perfect for filming anything while on the move with a gimbal stabilizer keeping your video still. You can connect it to your phone and record it right to the app. This camera offers so many capabilities for posting on social media!

Fastest Charging Station - Charge 6 of your devices at the same time with this charging station. This is a must-have for all of your devices and comes with three types of charging cords.

For the Avid Gardener:

These were recommended to me by my bestie and gardening connoisseur. Her most-used tools are a handheld hoe, a small rake, and a set of excellent bypass pruners.

Corona Hoe/Cultivator - This handheld gardening hoe offers prongs on one side and a blade on the other

Corona Fixed Tine Shrub Rake - This narrow rake is perfect for coiffing between shrubs and plants in your garden.

Corona Classic Bypass Pruner - These are simple handheld pruners with replacement parts available. It offers quality blades to make for easier work and healthier plants.

I hope this post offers some great solutions for your Mother's Day gift-giving or at least sparks other ideas! Happy Shopping and spoiling your loved ones!
